Types of School Credit
There are three types of community service credit at Paly:
- Living Skills, 15 hours required during the semester.
- Transcript Records, at least 100 hours any time during your four years at Paly.
- President's Award Recognition, at least 100 hours within any 12 calendar-month period.
Gold Award: 250+ hours
Silver Award: 175-249 hours
Bronze Award: 100-174 hours
Obtaining School Credit
- Obtain Paly's Community Service Verification Form. The form can be retrieved from the College and Career Center in the Tower Building, or online.
- If you have 100+ hours within one calendar year, you may also obtain Paly's President's Service Award application, either at the C&CC or online.
- Fill in the verification form(s).

For an hours breakdown, event-by-event, contact Sarah Lin, the club secretary. NOTE: Hours are valid only if you have paid dues for that Key Club year.

- Give the filled-in verification form to the president, vice president(s), or secretary. The person will sign your hours for you.
- Turn the packet in to Ms. Christina Owen in the Community Service office of the College and Career Center. Congratulations! :)
